Explore the diversity of our garden building projects.

Here is a selection of some recent projects that demonstrate the very wide range of contracts we undertake. All fully bespoke and designed to fully satisfy our customers needs.

Knebworth

Garden Studio and Office

This building became a necessity for our client in Knebworth, Hertfordshire as he operates away from his head office and needed a dedicated place to work away from the distractions in the house. Another case of space being made available from a largely unused part of the garden. It needed to accommodate two people, some design space and an area for storage and display.
Crawley

Cinema Room and Outdoor Kitchen

Our client in Crawley, Oxfordshire came to us wanting a building that they could use as both a cinema room, outdoor kitchen, dining area and store room. The brief was to replicate the style and finish of a recent extension to the house that had Western Red Cedar cladding, bifold doors and extended soffit.
Bristol

Gym and Office

This project in Coombe Dingle, Bristol was a classic example of a client wanting to exit the house where he had a makeshift office and the usual distractions and create a dedicated space for working, combined with a place to exercise and included a small shower room and toilet.
Brightlingsea

Dedicated Garden Office

A building we were very excited about because it was sited in a beautiful garden  in Brightlingsea, Essex with plenty of scope to enjoy those views of the garden. The  client was desperate for a quite and peaceful place to work and escape from the  distractions of working in a busy family house.
Cheddar

Elevated Garden Studio

Another project close to Cheddar Gorge in Somerset where the client had a very steep sloping garden (1:10). They wanted their building at the very top of the garden to take in the magnificent views across the Cheddar countryside. The design brief was to maximise these views from both the building itself and the extensive decking area. The project included a shower room and store room.
Clevedon

Add on to House

Another bespoke example of creating a building that adjoins the main house. The client in Clevedon, Somerset had received a quotation for a traditional house extension which came in at almost three times the cost of our SIP panelled building. Even though it adjoins the house, there is a set of original glass sliding patio doors between the two buildings separating both areas. The client removed an old conservatory and some timber outbuildings prior to our site survey.
Farnham

Work and Music Garden Room

A truly bespoke project for a musician based near Farnham in Hampshire who wanted to have a building that doubled up as a place to work, play music and also create space for the family to enjoy as well. The building took up a very underutilised part of the garden and was orientated to maximise light but reduce solar gain.
Isleworth

Den and Cinema Room

Our client in Isleworth, West London had an existing timber summer house that was reaching the end of its life and wasn’t suitable for the den and cinema room they wanted to have at the bottom of their garden. We designed a bespoke building for them as the site was quite confined and we were able to make the most of the space they had by building up to their boundaries. They also wanted a small attached store room to the right hand side that we were able to integrate into the design.
Chelmsford

Garden Room with Shower

The challenge of this project in Chelmsford, Essex was to replace a very dilapidated barn which was adjoined to a larger barn building with a new building but still maintaining the link. The design brief also included a fully fitted out and tiled shower room.
Wimbledon

Office and Den Garden Room

A mixed use building at the bottom of the garden for a client in Wimbledon, London. The building replaced an old shed and part of the garden that was rarely used. The building is used as a teenage den, office and store room. It also includes a small toilet and basin for convenience and avoids the need to keep nipping back to the house. A small deck area was created at the front rather than stepping straight from the grass and into the building.
Redditch

Musician's Garden Room

This project in Redditch, near Bromsgove created both indoor and outdoor spaces for very different uses. Our client is a musician and plays his guitar collection in a truly inspiring and perfectly positioned room with an outlook across a beautiful garden. Relocation of the family hot tub was also part of the project brief.
Rickmansworth

Office Studio Garden Room

We were approached by our client in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire to provide a building that would be used as an office, studio, store room and complete with a small toilet. The client was in the fortunate position to have space in a wooded part of their garden and provided a perfect setting for a creative environment the clients demanded.
