It’s not as simple as it sounds because garden rooms tend to be quite generic in their make up. However, with over 60 years of designing and manufacturing we can introduce those clean and minimalistic design features both externally and internally. We utilise the very best materials and differentiate between traditional natural wood cladding by using other materials such as composite cladding fixed either vertically or horizontally and often in darker solid colours.

Typically a contemporary garden room reflects the style and use of more modern building materials and will benefit from adding more glazing, especially full height, to a complete elevation or to a second elevation. This will not only add to that contemporary look and feel but will introduce more light and also find those reflective images of your garden. We would usually recommend incorporating sleek bi-fold or sliding doors rather than a traditional French type casement door arrangement and, most popularly, in an anthracite finish.
