We are all aware of the need to look after the world’s natural resources and what impact we leave on the environment. Our wood is only sourced from PEFC and FSC certified suppliers who plant 5 new trees for every one that is cut down.
Materials are carefully chosen to ensure we purchase responsibly and use recycled or natural materials wherever possible.
Environmentally friendly by design.
We actively try to avoid specifying concrete bases wherever possible.
As an example when comparing concrete with wood; one concrete beam takes approximately five times the energy to produce compared to that of a wooden beam. So imagine, a concrete base consumes nearly 80 times the energy to that of a wooden floor.
No landfill.
We have NO landfill waste. Wherever possible materials are recycled. We have two bio-mass furnaces to incinerate anything left over which goes towards heating our factory, including site waste.
